You seem to be the primary Bishard family history contact-I am a private historian charged with preparing a brief history of the Plain Talk newspaper, published by Bichard Bros. Publishing Co. in Des Moines, 1870 for 129 years--this line is descended from Moses H. Bishard and Bishard Bros. founders of the paper were sons Frank, John W. and Porte C. Just wondered if you know anything about this line and particularly about any descendants who have a potential to have photos, info? This is an Ohio line of course. The purpose of the history is to frame a new bookstore/coffee house venture to be titled Plain Talk Books & Coffee. The type of info I am seaking is along the line of historically significant individuals or accomplishments on the part of the family/publishing venture. The company was also a publishing firm of some note. The paper was an independent weekly and was published in East Des Moines (one of our two "downtowns")
