The "Genealogy of the Descendants of Thomas Bissell of Windsor, Connecticut by 1640," compiled by Edward Payson Jones, 1939, lists two husbands for Deborah Bissell born 29 Oct 1679. She m(1) 12 Dec 1695 Thomas Moore and m(2) 24 Mar 1703/4, Stephen Pettibone. She is said to have left eight children. Five children by her second husband are named, but no child named Thomas.
Deborah is shown as the dau of Samuel-2 and Abigail (Holcombe) Bissell. Samuel-2 was the son of John Bissell. Despite published accounts otherwise, his wife's name has not been proven. He may have married first Mary. Samuel-2 appears to have been a son by John's first wife, whatever her name was.
What is the basis for the birth of a child named Thomas Moore in 1718, 15 years after she married Stephen Pettibone? Have you documented this from early Connecticut records?
Thomas Moore was probably a member of the Thomas Moore family of Windsor, documented by Dr. Robert Charles Anderson of the NEHGS. Members of the NEHGS can access his account http://www.newenglandancestors.org/research/database/great_migration/m.asp#JOHN_MOOREhttp://www.newenglandancestors.org/research/database/great_migration/m.asp#JOHN_MOORE
