Bittick Reunion 2009
It’s Time To Mark A Most Important Date On Your Calendar!
Our 14th Annual Bittick/Biddix Reunion will be held on Saturday, April 4th at the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church in Liberty Hill, Texas
10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Directions to the church are on their website at http://www.lhumctx.org/directions.htmhttp://www.lhumctx.org/directions.htm
If that’s not your thing, just go west on Hwy 20 from Georgetown to Liberty Hill, turn left on
RR 1869. After crossing the railroad tracks, make the next left and the church will be a short way down on your left. Church address: 101 Church Street.
We’ll spend our morning hours getting to know each other, updating our records and looking at old pictures and memorabilia that you might bring (and we hope you do).
The dinner will be served at noon. We once again will have Sheriff Joe Pollock (former Sheriff of Burnet County) prepare the best barbeque that you’ve ever wrapped your lips around. The menu will include sliced barbeque beef, beans, potato salad, coleslaw & peach cobbler - all that for only $7.50! If you’re not a fan of peach cobbler, feel free to bring another dessert and also your own soft drinks. Coffee, tea, lemonade and ice will be available. No alcoholic beverages, please.
Following the dinner, we will have time to discuss who and what is new in the family. We’ll also have our door prize drawings. Like last year, we’re asking you to bring an item from your local area/town for our drawings. We’ll als have time to visit the Bittick Cemetery in Andice.
We have a block of rooms reserved at the LaQuinta Inn in Georgetown for your convenience. Mention the Bittick Reunion when you call (512-869-2541).
Please share this information with your family members (or bring them with you). Or, send us their address and we’ll mail them a flyer. Hope to see YOU on April 4th!
