Grant,
I have a Blackard that may be related. Susan Elizabeth Blackard married one of my relatives. They lived in White County, IL, the same county as Omaha, IL. Is there a connection? Following is what I have:

Jacob C. Bloodworth b. 1846. (Son of Margaret Forrester and Chapman Bloodworth) Married Susan Elizabeth Blackard, daughter of William and Rebecca (Greer) Blackard, b. 1850. Died Nov. 27, 1919 and buried in VILLAGE CEMETERY in White County, IL. They were married Feb. 2, 1870 in White County, IL by W.O. Welch, J.P., pg. 1A The only child listed for them is:
Edward C. Bloodworth b. Feb. 26, 1887. Died Jul. 26, 1940 and was buried in ENFIELD CEMETERY./Pearl (other dates, info., not given.), pg. 1A
