Hello my name is Thelma McGraw and I am the daughter of Carl Blacketer/s/o Marvon Blacketer/ s/o Thomas S. Blacketer/ s/o John Henry Blacketer/
( I believe to be the son of Alexander Sandy Blacketer)/ s/o William Wesley & Elizabeth Allgood/ s/o William and Rachel Mary. I am having problems identifying anything in connection to the direct siblings and parent info on Thomas Sylvester. He lived in Cincinatti landing, next to New Canton, Illinois. Pike Co., My father as a little boy lived with his parents a couple of doors down from Uncle Ed and Aunt Becky. They lived in a house boat from what I understand. Ed had a brother named Houston Riley. His Granddaughter Ruth Winters is still alive. Houston lived on a houseboat in the Alton, Woodriver area of Illinois. He died at the State Hosp. in Alton of brain hemorrhaging. I am assuming he had an aneurysm. He had been married at least 2 times. His 2nd wife died of the same thing at the same hosp. prior to him. Can you tell me the siblings of them and etc. I have not been able to fill in the gaps. There are 2 John Henry's. One is buried at Shearer Cemetery between New Canton and Barry Illinois. and the other I believe in Hardin. Can tell more. thelma
