I have a lot on Spicey Jane Blacketter's family which leads directly into mine. She was the sister of John A. Blacketter, our ancestor. If you look at 1850 census for Sand Creek, Bartholomew County, Indiana you will find her listed in the family of Wesley Blacketter and Spicy Harris, her parents. Mary Hamner, widow of James B. Hamner, and her children are also living in this family.

By 1860 the children of John Herrod Bradford are listed with their grandparents: Marianna Bradford is 5 years old and born in Indiana, Lucinda E. Bradford is 13 - b. IN. In 1870 William O. Bradford is added, 11 years old b.IN.

John Herrod Bradford s/o John Bradford is found in 1850 census from Sand Creek also. The may also be the John Bradford found in Geneva, Jennings Co. IN in the 1870 census.

If I can be of more help let me know. My problem with this line is finding the parents of Spicy and Mary Harris. If you can be of help in that line I would love it.
