I had no idea there were so many Blacketters

My whole life I felt like an outcast because I had a weird last name that no one really knew much about. I know my father Jeff W. Blacketter and my sister Tiffany Blacketter-Davidson have both researched our history but have found empty decades or even centuries. I must admit it is pure curiosity that has brought me to this site, but now that I'm here I feel a need to search, perhaps the same need you all feel. I suppose this could be my chance to say whatever I want due to the obvious fact that I know no one on this forum, but I have only one question really. Is it true that all of our histories originated in Scotland, or are all of your ancestors from other parts of this world?
