Rhonda, in researching the 1900 US Census, I found an entry for a Jona W. Blacketer in Hardin, Pike County, Illinois. (T623-337l ED 117, sheet 7. p. 141) The entry shows his birthdate as June, 1870 and his occupation as a farmer. Also listed were Dora I (wife) Jan 1873; Ernest C (son) June 1890; Virgal F. (son) December 1893; Cecil G (daughter) August 1895; and Lennabell (daughter) June 1900.
So far, I have not been able to attach this Blacketer with my direct line, but thought you might like the information. Good luck.
