Hello... I regret that my knowledge is limited to popular history surrounding BH's descendants.

I am aware that Black Hawk's son, Whirling Thunder, who surrendered with his father to the Winnebago and who toured Washington and the great cities of the East, also had a son.

I am informed that this son's Sauk name translated in to English as "Bright Path," but today we know him as Jim Thorpe-- an athlete of world renown that was christened the "All American."
