Thank you for the reply, No I am not a decendant of Black Hawk,. But I am a decendant of early Illinois Settlers, one of which was a volunteer in the militia during the Black Hawk War. I am also a historical reenactor, and a co-founder of the Black Hawk War Society, which is based out of northern Illinois, so I guess you could say that I have an interest. I would love to hear your connection to Chief Black Sparrow Hawk, I have a deep interest in the time period. In fact just today I visited Kellogg's Grove, (for the second time) which is a battle site of the late conflict of 1832. Please feel free to contact me off board or post messages on the Black Hawk War Society Board.
