Indian Creek Massacre, May 21, 1832
Posted by: Fritz Miller (ID *****7817) Date: March 28, 2002 at 10:54:55

Can someone enlighten me with information about the Indian Creek Massacre? I've recently discovered that my ancestors were victims of this attack. William Hall, his wife Jennie (Williams) Hall and their daughter Elizabeth were killed. Their sons John and Greenberry were injured, yet escaped, and their daughters Sylvia and Rachel were kidnapped by Indians, later ransomed and returned.

I am descended from another daughter, Temperance, who was married at the time and not living at the Hall home. Any information...or sources for information...are appreciated.
