Thomas McCullum

Recently, I had the opportunity to do so research at the Indiana State Archives. My search revealed a
"Thomas McCullum" who fought in the Black Hawk War. Thomas McCullum was listed as a private, in Capt. Reding's Company. He enlisted June 7, 1832 for 30 days. He was in "3rd Co.," Chicago March.

I believe this man is my g-g-g-grandfather and I am trying to find any information on him or the Black Hawk War.

Any help finding information would be appreciated--on the Black Hawk War or soldier files!!
