My mother's line comes from Buckinghamshire, but she believes that her grandfather came from Wiltshire, though not any more accurate than that!
My ggrandfather Joseph Blackmore (b 14 Nov 18??, Wiltshire?) married Kate (or similar) and had 7 children; Margaret, Clarence, Molly, John, Phyllis, Frederick and Katherine.
Joseph had at least two siblings; Mary Ann and William Walter Oliver (1863?-1947), who married Emily Jane STICKLAND.
Census of 1881 shows a Joseph and his brother Walter at Netheravon, Wiltshire. Could these be mine? Is Netheravon near your area of interest? Any names ring a bell?
