My great grandmother was Sarah Blackmore, b. 10 December 1831 in Bradford-on-Avon, m. Gearge WIllis Purnell in 1859, emigrated to Connecticut around 1870 with four children. My grandfather, Oliver Purnell was born in Bradford-on-Avon. Family tradition has him learning to walk on the boat coming to America.
I will be happy to provide yo wiht any info as to descendents, etc.
Dave Connor
