Cousin Mary,
I am sure that James Bleakmore/Blakemore/Blackmores parents were named Caleb and Cathrina Blackmore who resided in Williams Township Northhampton Pa. in the mid 1700's. I found entries for baptisms (that might not be on-line anymore and I have not checked lately). I posted info on gen-form that I think is still available to view for one baptism for a son named George who might have been named after his mother Catherina, father. I believe that Cathrina was of German decent and may have had the maiden name of Snider/Scheinder, Bast or Best, or Gressler or similar spelling. I am not sure if Caleb was only English or German and English. I am assuming that Calebs father was named James, since the English naming pattern that was used back then always had the first son named after the fathers father.
Cousin M.J.
