Researching the Blackmores who moved to Newfoundland possibly from Devon area. It appears they were active in the fishery. John Blackmore born c. 1710 - died 1766, may have married Eleanor Kean born c.1714 - died 1796. Buried on Gooseberry Island, Nfld. Line to myself may be his son Phillip, then Henry who married Martha Clarke, then Benjamin, from here they were into mining, Issac Stephen, Victor, Frederick Malcolm and myself. Places lived Pinchard's Island, Pilley's Island and Bell Island. Any help is appreciated. Wayne
