Hope this helps.I know a lady in Gainesville, Mo (EarleneHicks) who is a descendant of this Ezekiel and has a pair of eye glasses that was owned by Isabella Dobson.The following is quoted in "Blacksheariana" compiled by Perry Lynnfield Blackshear in 1954 (Atlanta, Ga).A copy of this plus other families is available for download on the Blackshear page at MYFAMILY.COMIf you e-mail me your address I can get you accessed to view many pictures and all of the text.

Spencer who wasmy father, he died here in Henry Co., Tenn., 1 Dec., 1914, aged 83 years.The 4th and youngest son was Newton Jasper, m. Lucinda Hughs 06 Jun 1855.He d. 10 Feb 1912 and is buriedin Lilly Ridge cemetery in Ozark Co., Mo. (Gainesville, Mo.)Newton Jasper Blacksher homesteaded about 160 acres of land in Gainesville, Mo in 1877.He had to live on the land for fiveyears and show proof of this to have the deed signed by Ulysses S. Grant. The land has remained in the family down through 1995 where it is owned by Mrs. Earlene (Blacksher) Hicks who was given the "Missouri Century Farm" award in Nov 1994. Newton Jasper Blacksher is the great-grandfather ofMrs. Hicks. At his death, Newton Jasper Blacksher left 4 Boys and 5 Girls.
