I have just started researching my blagrave ancestry. I hope to be successful as it was my father's dream of finding out about his father. My grandfather left my grandmother in the 1940's, in Barstow, California and with today's technology, I'm hoping to find out something. My father is not in the 20th century yet so he does not use the internet. My grandmother is now deceased.

Who knows, maybe we are related way, way, back because we are supposed to be of English decent. Anyway, if you know any information about a Eugene Henry Blagrave OR Henry Eugene Blagrave (he went by Eugene but that could be his middle name). He was in Colorado in the 1930's when he met my grandmother. I think he may be Henry Blagrave, born July 23, 1911 and died May 1982 which I located in Colorado. I am pursuing that information further. Still searching for more information as his SS card was issued in Arizona.

Any tips on how I can be successful? How are you doing with your own geneology? Is the investment of a good software program with geneology storage cd's worth it?
