I am james Elbert Blagrave II. I recently visited England and met one Ian Blagrove (Blagrave). Anyway, I saw a few references that a james Henry Blagrave moved in the mid-1800 period, to the Cedar Bayou area of harriso CO Texas.

My Great Grand father was James Henry Blagrave. he had a brother Tom Blagrave and I believe a brother or two more as well as a few sisters. I cannot find the name for my Great-Great-Grandfather, but it seems likely that the James Henry Blagrave I have seen in this website that was netioned to you by a kathleen Dallius (I think I got that correct) could have been the other James Henry Blagrave's
(my Great-Grandfather)father. I say this because all information I can gather points to the Cedar Bayou area for the origin of my Great-Grandfather (b. 1869-70). He was married to Mary Annie Harrison (called Annie). Their sons were Arthur, Henry, Elbert (b. Mar 16, 1901), and Luther. Their Daughters were Louella, Minnie Mae, and Rosa. My own Grandfather was Elbert and he married Veta Fulbright, of the Plantation Fulbright from Southern Lousiana, cousins to Senator Fulbright. I recently learned that Hiram B Blagrave had a son Rueben who had a son name Ashly. I believe these may ahve been a line of the same people coing from Indiana. If you have any info that could help me discover my G-G_ Grandfather's, and mother's names I would truly appreciate it.

Thanks, Jimm
