Dear sir i am contacting you about the posting about rachel schunk.My father was a moran & his father had three sisters.Going through old papers where my father was researching family history ,I have came across a dead certificate of my great Auntie Lavina (moran ) Sims Mothers maiden Name :Rachel Schunk and Father Name John Moran.By what my father has gathered rachel & john had four children joseph A.,margaret,lillian and Lavina moran .But on all four birth certificates Naming the mother is Fredericka Strango but it is marked out and lists Rachel Schunk.I also have copies of the Philip Schunk,John Breitenbach death certificate.My father also has a paper from the Lutheran Cemetery with Elizabeth R Schunk age 63 died Feb 14 1874 buried New York City .If you have any futher information I would be glad to share mine with you. thank-you
