First of all, congratulations on receiving your law degree. That is quite an accomplishment!! Secondly, your little girl is a real cutie--congratulations to you and your wife.

Thanks to the internet, I have been able to meet people like you and exchange genealogical information. I acquired some of my information that way. Fortunately, my husband had a grandmother who kept a lot of pictures and papers, which she passed on to us. I got some of my information through these pictures and papers.

1. WILLIAM (BLACKY)BLAIKIE was born August 30, 1769 in Parish of Kirbeare or Colsend, Scotland, and died September 04, 1851 in Greenhill, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. He married (1) MARTHA ARCHIBALD May 15, 1774 in Truro, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, daughter of THOMAS ARCHIBALD and JANET ORR. She was born May 15, 1775, and died March 24, 1802. He married (2) LILLIAS CAMERON October 24, 1803 in Greenhill, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, daughter of ALEXANDER CAMERON and JANET ROSS. She was born October 22, 1781 in Loch Broom, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, and died September 19, 1842 in Greenhill, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. He married (3) MARGARET PATTERSON June 26, 1845. She was born 1793, and died 1865.
