Hi Patsy, I believe I possibly have some information for you about Sarah Ann Blake. My great-great grandfather was Randolph Blake and is the son of Archibald Isham Blake. My Randolph Blake has often been confused with a William Randolph Blake who resided in Mississippi and Arkansas. William Randolph Blake was the son of Samuel Parsons Blake, and these two Randolph Blakes are definitely different individuals. I have researched this issue extensively. My GG Grandfather (Randolph Blake, b.1826, in Alabama) had the following sisters and brother: Sarah Ann Blake (b.in 1819, Georgia) Mary (Polly) Blake (b. in 1821, Georgia) Mahala Blake (b. in 1822, South Carolina) Elizabeth P. Blake (b. in 1825, Georgia) Thomas J. Blake (b. 15 Sep 1835, Alabama) My records show that Sarah A. Blake orignally married Samuel W. Hallon on 6 Jun. 1837, in Autauga County, Alabama. I do not have any death info on her. Maybe that is because she and her husband moved (maybe to Mississippi). Hope this small bit of information helps. If you feel this makes a connection, I have a complete file on my side of the Blake family. Do you have any additional information on your GG Grandmother and related Blakes?
