Spartanburg Herald, dated Nov. 29, 1941.
Chester, Nov. 28- Funeral services for MRS. A.LAW BLAKE, 80, for many years a resident of Chester, who died at her home in Greenwwod , were conducted at Blyths Funeral Home at Greenwood today, burial in Magnolia cemetery.
MRS. BLAKE was the former MISS JOSIE LINDSEY of Athens, Ala.
She is survived by her husband, A.LAW BLAKE, 2 sons, the REV. W.K. BLAKE of Springfield, Ala., and EDGAR L. BLAKE of Miami, Fla.; 2 sisters, MRS. ESTELLE CLARIDGE of Newport, Ark., and MRS. EDD SAXON of Camden, Ark.
