Since my last message, I have found information about the ancestors of Phoebe Knowles. I am still looking for the ancestors of David Blake and especially his parents. I strongly suspect that he is related to the family of Jasper Blake and I have procured a book on the descendants of Jasper Blake in hopes that I can find a relative in there.

Possible places of interest could include: Pittsfield, Gilmanton, New Hampton, Meredith, Center Harbor, Sandwich (all in New Hampshire).
