John Blake b 1863 Manhattan

I am searching for ancestors and other family of JOHN BLAKE (b 1863) who worked for the Postal Service, Branch 36, Madison Sq Garden, in Manhattan, NY. For over 40 years, he and his family lived on 27th St in the Chelsea Park area.

b. Feb 05, 1863
d. Jun 08, 1935
m. Apr 30, 1890 to Charlesetta Barton "in NYC"

Parents were William Blake (b. England) and Mary Park (b. Ireland) according to his death certificate but I have not located them in the US Census.

JOHN BLAKE spent time as a young man in Carmel, Putnam Co, NY. There are a couple of references to him in the "Putnam Courier" regarding "visiting the place of his childhood". There was a Wm J. Blake in Carmel who was an atty, publisher and later postmaster (for a short time) but I can find no relation. This Wm had no sons.

An Adam Blake (b 1859) is buried in Green-Wood Cemetery in the same plot with John and Charlesetta. I suspect he is John's brother. Also there is Marion F Blake who I am told was a cousin.

All responses appreciated
