Hi Kim:

The given name Lewis shows up repeatedly in the Blakes of Greenbrier Co. All of these appear to be descendants of Theophilus Blake. Can you give me info on who your Lewis was married to in 1850 and any children?

Theophilus and Margaret Unknown had seven sons. I have info on George Kennet, John, Thomas, and William, and your line is not theirs. That leaves James, Samuel, and Peter for whom I have nothing.. Since Jane Blake was b. abt 1796 and her husband d. bef. 1840, he was probably also born about 1795 and thus a grandson to Theophilus..
