Hi Clark,
My Lewis Blake (also known as Lewis A. Blake) was married 1847 to Amanda S. Nihiser, daughter of Jacob Nihiser and Sarah (maiden name unknown).
Lewis and Amanda had:
Sarah Jane Blake 1847
William J. Blake 1849
Eliza E. Blake 1851
Mary Blake 1855
Paris B. Blake 1858
James Blake 1861
Samuel Blake 1863
Bollar M. Blake c. 1867
Amanda Nihiser Blake died 1871, and Lewis Blake m. Henrietta Moore (a widow) 1878.
Lewis and Henrietta had:
Susan H. Blake
Two possibilities for Lewis's father:
1) Lewis s/o William s/o Theophilus. This came from a descendant of Bollar M. Blake. Do not know who this Lewis married, possibly a Dickinson?
2) Lewis s/o George Kennett Blake s/o Theophilus. Info I have says this Lewis married Sally Wilson in Kanawha, WV, but perhaps he married twice?
