this is what i have, hope it helps someone.
*de blakeney of ireland's grandson william
de blakeney born 1150 limerick, ireland.
*next generations all born there.
*15th generation thomas de blakeney, son
john married ann.
*john's son john dropped the de from his name
*son john-grandson charles-ggrandson william,
born 1598.
*william's grandsons william (1672-1761),
lt.general of the island of minorca, and john
both born on mount blakeney, limerick.
*capt. john born 1732, married mary.
*came to america 1750.
i have info from this point to 1868 when my
family was briefly connected with the blakeneys. also the mississippi cemeteries where many blakeneys are buried.
