I wasn't referring to you as regards "living" (not that I'm saying that you are not alive). As a fellow-genealogist, I knew you wouldn't mind. The more people you know and can contact, the better. And it is not really the ones my age (b. in 1954) and older that I am concerned about, but those born since. And the younger they are the more reluctant I am in giving out details about them. Should I feel this way? I don't know. I liked what you said and I agree that we should not give out anyone's phone number, mailing address, or personal identification codes. Is their date of birth, marriage date, sibling's names, and parent's names personal information? Maybe 9-11-01 has just made me more skiddish. You had some good thoughts, so I'm thinking about it. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
