Hi, Gary. The information about the parents of capt John was sent to me by one of the other Blakeneys. There was no verification, and the details made me wonder... Robert's birth years was credible, the Sarah or Susanna's (can't remember right this minute) was given as the same year as Captain Johns. So I knew there were obviously some ?? with the information. Last night when I was playing online, I went to a genealogy site I haven't been to before... worldconnect something or other. They had a pedigree on Capt John and listed parents, grandparents and back 3-4 generations. I downloaded it, and just looked at it right now. I have some concerns about the accuracy of this information. It is totally dateless, and does not seem to tie in with our Captain John. I'll email it to you, and you can see what you think.

BTW, why do we call him "captain"? Almost all the Blakeney men in this GEDCOM his military titles... majors and captains and so forth.

Anyway, I'll go email it to you. Tell me what you think. I have my doubts now, after looking over it.
