Descendents of Captain John Blakeney (1732-1832)

I am interested in learning, collecting, and preserving the descendents of Captain John Blakeney (1732-1832)up to, at least, the Second World War. Captain John Blakeney was born in Ireland and came to America about 1750. He was a South Carolina Revolutionary War hero, hence his title Captain John. He had eight children: (1) Thomas, (2) John Jr., (3) Robert, (4) William, (5) James, (6) Jane, (7) Mary, and (8) Hugh.

In addition to John Oscar Blakeney's 1928 book -- "The Blakeneys in America" -- to which I have made numerous corrections, I have collected quite a bit of information from several dozen people around the USA. Yet, I have only scratched the surface. If you know anything about Captain John Blakeney or any of his descendents, please email me -- gblakeney@htcomp.net.
