The information that I have is that Mary J. Blakeney was m. first to Altus C. Hinson 29 Oct 1835 in Wilcox Co, Al. She m. 2) James Blakeney ca. 1848 and 3) Franklin Blakeney 3Nov 1865 in Choctaw Co, Al., cousins. Mary J. Blakeney was the daughter of Alfred Blakeney b. 25 Oct 1796, d. bef. 15 May 1848 in Wilcox Co, Al. and Margaret McIntosh b. ca. 1800 in S.C. (according to the 1850 Wilcox Co, Al Census.) I descend from Mary J. and James Blakeney.

Several have done extensive research on this Blakeney family and I hope to hear their input as well as any changes or corrections.

I have some additional info. on Mary J. Blakeney's siblings if you would like to have it.
The only record of a child of Mary J. and Altus Hinson is Eudora Adeline Hinson b. 29 Nov 1842 in Camden, Wilcox Co, Al. who m. Dr. Amon Alexander Stallworth. Amon Stallworth's first wife was Susan Blakeney. Gets complicated with cousins!
