1810 Laurens Co SC census - Blakley
Posted by: Charles Blakley (ID *****2684) Date: July 29, 2007 at 19:14:13

The cited census lists the Blakley families who relocated to Blount Co. AL in 1820 by way of TN. This would be John, his sons, James, and John, and the Samuel GREEN who married John's daughter, Mary. Related families are BOX and HOLCOM, all of whom appear on pages 75-78 of the 1810 Laurens Co. census in Cap't Templeton's Company. They lived along the Little River and Beaver Dam Creek, between present day Laurens and Clinton, SC.
