What is the age of John? I'm wondering if John could be the son of Aquilla Blakley? Here are some notes on Aquilla that I have: Enlisted Bedford Co., VA 1773/4 Blackley, Acquilla County=Bedford Capt. Abraham Penn's Co. Acquilla later lived in Henry Co., VA and is found in the 1782 tax list. The 1782 Henry County, Virginia Personal Property Tax List Transcribed by Jeffrey C. TN in 1810 and Elizabeth married John Farmer and remained in TN. Later Acquilla moved to Blount Co., AL. He received a military pension for his service in Rev. War. He was almost 100 years old when he died.
