On page 184 of the Book by Harry Zook ( Zug/Zuck/ Zouck/Zook ) Gateway Press Inc. 1983 you will find the following;

C8 Christian ( Zug) Zook b. 20 April 1752, d. 8 Oct 1826
m. Magdalena Blank, d. 14 Aug 1833, Age 81 years.
D/o Hans and Magdalena Blank.

They had a daughter;

C83 Barbara Zug, 25 Jan 1778- 31 Dec 1852
m. Nov 1803, Daniel Hertzler, b. 26 June 1774

from page 186 as follows;

Three of Christianís daughters married grandsons of Jacob Hertzler, the first Amish Bishop in America. At age eighty, Bishop Hertzler walked from his home near Hamburg to vist the Chester Valley Congregation.He covered the approximately fifty miles in two days. The year was 1783.

Magdalena (Blank) Zug was the daughter of Swiss refugee and physician, Dr. Hans Blank of Berks and Lancaster Counties. She is Buried beside Christian in the Old Flat Cemetery.
