Moses (b.1817?) & David (b.1825?) from Bavaria

I'm stumped trying to trace these two Blank brothers back beyond 1850 in Arkansas - they list themselves as peddlars (Richland, Jefferson Ark 1850 census) from Bavaria (Pine Bluff, Ark 1870 census). I'm related to both of them, since their children, Henrietta and Jacob Blank, were parents of my grandfather, Maurice (Morris, Marrice) Blank. Can anyone give guidance here?

I do know that Henrietta and Jacob were cousins of a Lilian (my father's "Great Aunt Lil") in Philadelphia, where mostly all of my Blanks ended up living by 1880. I'd like to know if Moses and David started out in PA, with Lilian's group, or, any other info anyone might have.

Thanks much.
