My g-grandfathers name was George Franklin Blasier. He was married to Anna Marie Meyers, who was born 21, aug. 1879 and died in Oct. 1972. They lived in Niagara co. N.Y. His brother was Mortimer Blasier (b.10 Aug.1880, d. May 1965). Their father was one of five boys, three of them died in the civil war. 17th c. Blasiers of this family lived in Eastern France. They left and went to Holland to escape persecution because they were Calvinists. They lived in Amsterdam for 3 years and then travelled with the Dutch to settle in the Mohawk Valley near Rome N.Y. This is all I know about this family, and I would like to know more. If anyone has any info on them please post. Thank You.
