Hi Neil,
Below is the information that the Blauvelt Family Genealogy (compiled by Louis L. Blauvelt, published 1957 by the Association of Blauvelt Descendants) has for the family of Cornelius A. Blauvelt and Mary Ann Serven (I've also included the families of each of their parents and grandparents). If you're interested, the genealogy also has quite a bit of information on Cornelius and Mary's later descendants, many of whom are probably still living.
(2626) Cornelius A. Blauvelt (son of Abraham D. Blauvelt & Catrina Van Houten) was born 14 Sep. 1820, and baptised at Clarkstown (NY) #2847,15 Oct. 1820. On 23 Apr. 1842 he married Mary Ann Serven (3397, also a Blauvelt descendant), at Kakiat. She was the daughter of Peter Serven & Charity Felter, b. 11 Jul. 1822. Until about 1860 they lived in New York City, where Cornelius was a stage driver. They attended the John Street Methodist Church. In 1860 they moved to Pontiac, MI, and from there, in 1870, they went to Albion, MI, where Cornelius died on 13 Sep. 1902. Mary Ann died at Jackson, MI, on 2 Sep. 1913. They are both buried at Albion.
Children (dates of birth are from a family bible):

(4807) Harriet Blauvelt, b. 20 Feb. 1846 ["We understand that she died about 1863."]
(4808) Sarah Jane, b. 21 Jul. 1847 ["We understand that she too died in the early 1860's."]
(4809) Matilda, b. 7 Apr. 1850 [ "On 25 Apr. 1870, she married Andrew Potter of Pontiac, MI. He was the son of William Potter and Isabel Clendenning, born in Ireland 28 Mar. 1842.
