Bleecker and Warhaftig/Worgaftik connection

Hello,
My grandmother was Olga Worgaftik, and she had a brother who died with his wife, leaving four children orphaned. These children took their mother's maiden name of Bleecker, and the Worgaftiks lost track of them. I have just been successful in finding the Worgaftik cousins I didn't know I had until last month, and found out about the Bleecker side from them. My grandmother emigrated from Odessa in 1915, to NYC, then up to Toronto and finally Winnipeg.
If there is anyone out there with a Manny Bleecker, from Florida at one time, please email me. Apparently he is part of the breakaway family of Bleeckers. The new cousins remember him coming to talk to either Herman or Alex Worgaftik.
I have been searching the web (Switchboard and Google) and emailing a lot of Bleeckers, and will begin sending out letters to the families in Florida. If I hear from anyone before I do that, it would be greatly appreciated.
I wonder if Bleecker Street was named after this part of the family?
