I see someplace I picked up that a John DECOW married Jane MILLS, 5 27 1840.
Jane listed as dau of Nathaniel MILLS And Rebecca HARRISON, son of George and Phebe, son of David and Rebecca HOLMES MILLS, etc, back to the George of Jamaica, LI NY USA.

At least by paper trail. However, by DNA test on 6 MILLS family members, does not agree to the other 3 or 4 who also have links with the George of Jamaica, LI NY.

Those branches need some real fine tooth scanning etc,
from New York, up to Nova Scotia, and other provinces of Canada.

I saw in passing recently the name of HELME who married a MILLS, and then that line on down reflected a Thomas HELME MILLS, who then married a HELME.
So they kind of cross paths.
Maybe where the mix up is on the DNA lines.

I got kicked off the net for some weird problem with either QWEST or AOL, and when I tried to get back there, could not access it.
