Andrew and Charity were in the 1830 Grayson county Federal census, the 1840 and 1850 Ashe county Federal census, and the 1880 Smyth county Federal census. You implied that they were in the 1860 Ashe county Federal census. You stated that Charity was in the 1900 Washington county Federal cenus.Would you present that data?Where were they in the 1870 and 1890 Federal census.
What data is available that shows the whereabouts of Andrew and Charity between 1830 and 1840 other than the possible 1835 Grayson Tax list?Any deeds etc?
Their children between 1830 and 1840 are listed below.Does anyone know exactly where they were born?Ashe or Grayson county or elsewhere?
4-16 Sarah Blevins (6/17/1830-7/6/1900)
5-16 Jonathan Blevins (1832-) 63rd VA INF.Enlisted at Moccasin Gap.
6-16 Susan Blevins (1834-)
7-16 Elijah Blevins (1836-12/31/1862) 37th NC INF.
8-16 Mary Ann Blevins (6/10/1838-9/7/1907)
9-16 Andrew Blevins Jr. (1840-)63rd VA INF.Enlisted at Moccasin Gap.
How does the military data compare with yours?Where is Moccasin Gap?Were other sons John and Elisha in the War?
Thanks for yor help.
