I am searching for info on Andrew J Blevings (Blevins) abt 1833 Tn, and wife Catherine (unk) abt 1840 Al or Va. They were the parents of Carrie H abt 1857 Al, Blanche abt 1859 Al, & Charles A abt 1862 Al
The 1860 Census shows Andrew J, Catherine, Cary H, and Blanche living in the Eastern Subdivision, Franklin Co Al
1870 Census shows children Carrie H, Ophelia (Blanche?) & Charles living with an aunt Carrie S Bean abt 1845 Al, and a James Bean abt 1828 Al, in Russellville, Franklin Co, Al.
1880 Census Carrie S Bean and sister Sauna S Bean abt 1850 Al, have moved the three Blevings children from Al to Union, Izard Co, Ar. Robert Jones age 19 is also living with them. All listed as farm laborers however, Carrie S Bean is listed as having sore eyes.
15 Feb 1892 Arkansas Carrie H Blevins bore a son, Edward W Blevins. Fathers name unk. Edward W Blevins was half brother of my Grandfather Charles McCulley.
I have located Carrie H Blevins McCulley up to 1920 and Charles A Blevins up to his death 15 Oct. 1944 in Norfork, Baxter County, Arkansas.
I am now searching for more info on parents Andrew J & Catherine, sister Blanche (Ophelia), aunts Carrie S & Sauna S Bean, and James Bean.
Both Andrew J Blevings and James Bean were listed as Confederate Soldier with the 27th Alabama Infantry Regiment, Co. G, Franklin Co, Al. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Teresa
