Billy Winfrey Blevins, 81, of Route 3 Box 453, Bluefield,
WV, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at the
home of his son, Jeffery Blevins, in King, NC.

Born on April 17, 1930, in Coalwood, he was a son of the
late W. C. and Mary Winfrey Blevins.

He had been a resident of Mercer County for 73 years and
was a member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church.

He was retired from Coca-Cola Bottling. He started there
at age 17 as a driver and retired as plant manager at the
age of 63. He was the number one fan for all athletes and
sports at Montcalm High School. He was a member of the
Bluefield Moose Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a
brother, Jack Blevins; and two sisters, Nancy and Betty

Survivors include wife, Mildred Marie Farlow Blevins, of
the home; two sons, Jeffery Blevins and wife Wanda, of
King, NC, Timothy Blevins and wife Lori, of Lashmeet; two
daughters, Cynthia Havens and husband Craig, of Montcalm,
Laura Beth Davidson and Brian, of Bluefield; seventeen
grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and nine great-
great grandchildren; four sisters, Brabara Ann Blevins, of
Rt. 3, Bluefield, Grace Conley, of Rt. 3, Bluefield, Edith
Ratcliff, of Rt. 5, Bluewell, and Norma Smith, of VA.

Friends may call on Sunday, December 18, 2011, from
6 p.m. - 8 p.m., at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in
Bluewell, and one hour prior to services on Monday at the

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 19,
2011, at 11 a.m., at the Bluewell United Methodist Church
in Bluewell with Rev. Steve Rector officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton,
with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
