Linda was born in Scott Co VA, on July 4, 1949, a daughter of the late James Henry, Sr., and Myrtle Ella Blevins Hensley. In addition to her parents, her sisters, Janice Osborne and Gennelle Hensley preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Frasier Elkins and husband Wayne, Kingsport, TN; son, Mark Frasier and wife Stephanie, Yuma, VA; grandchildren, Jacob Elkins, Kingsport, TN, and Sarah Elizabeth Frasier, Yuma, VA; sisters, Gladys Mann, Kingsport, TN, Selby Childress, Defiance, OH, Lucy Mann, Dungannon, VA, Patty Hensley, Ft. Blackmore, VA, and Carol Williams and husband Clayton, Ft. Blackmore, VA; brothers, George Hensley and wife Peggy, Dungannon, VA, Joe Hensley and wife Judy, Defiance, OH, Billy Hensley, and wife Charlotte, Lebanon, VA, and James Hensley, Jr., Dungannon, VA; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2012, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home, with Pastor John Rogers, Pastor Clayton Williams, and Pastor Billy Hensley officiating. April McNew and Tim Baldwin will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at the Hensley Cemetery, Dungannon, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m., Tuesday, to go in procession to the graveside service.
