Ronnie Wayne Blevins, 57, of Chilhowie, VA, passed away
Sunday, February 26, 2012, at the Johnston Memorial

Mr. Blevins was born April 27, 1954, in Smyth Co VA.

He was a member of the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church
where he taught Sunday School. Mr. Blevins graduated from
Emory & Henry College in 1976 and was employed with
Dewberry & Davis Architectural firm and had been a
surveyor for the Virginia Department of Transportation for
over 15 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to
hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Preston
Blevins; and his brother, Danny Blevins

Survivors include 0ne son and daughter-in-law, Jacob and
Niki Blevins, Johnson City, TN; mother, Jeannette Kessee
Blevins, Chilhowie, VA; niece, Jill Eddy and husband
Brandon, Marion, VA; great niece and nephew, Shaylan Eddy
and Isaac Eddy; aunts, uncles, cousins; and other loving
family members.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 28,
2012, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., at the Cleghorn Valley Baptist
Church, or anytime at his mother‘s home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday,
February 29, 2012, at the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church
with Rev. Wesley Eller and Rev. Bob Steele officiating.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer
Society 1599 Clifton Road Atlanta, GA 30329.
