I am very interested in this query since my Blevins "brick wall" seems to be in Green county Ky.I know that Nathan Blevins, the rev war pensioner, was in Green County Ky in the late 1700s and early 1800s.He was born in NC and returned to Ashe County NC, after marrying the widow Lydia Peppers in Ky.Some researchers think his first wife was Rachel Skaggs, daughter of Charles Skaggs.Others think that Rachel was married to a William Blevins. My own line goes back to a William Blevins who was born in NC in 1793.There are some indications that he spent his young life in Ky. before returning to NC in the early 1800s along with a couple of his brothers.Any information about this Blevins connection to Green county Ky would be appreciated.
