Will share what I know about "Blinkhorn"
This information comes secondhand but from a good source: Prof. Martin Blinkhorn of Lancaster University. According to him, the family name derives from a (very) small town in Cumbria-Blencarn. I am in the United States and have never been there and was wondering if some of you British Blinkhorns could make your way there and report back as I cannot recall much else of significance from his email a few years ago. Blencarn is E of Penrith, BTW.
