Lynda,
What a wonderful surprise to receive your posting!Have I got some family information for you!The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) maintains a free genealogy called Familysearch.org where I located the 1880 Census records that show John and Katarina Bloeth’s Family as of 1880. I believe there was at least 1 more child born after 1880.The following is the info from this census report ~ the family lived in Kings County(Brooklyn), New York.

My father (Herman Markert) stills lives in New York and always drove his Grandmother Minnie (William John Bloeth’s second wife) to visit Helen Guthlein when I was a child.Did you know Minnie Bloeth?Minnie lived to be 98 years old (she died in NY in 1978) having outlived her two children, Louise Sagendorf and William B. Bloeth.
I live in Miami, Florida with my husband, Pompeyo and our telephone number is listed.I would be thrilled to continue our communications by telephone in evenings or weekends as I’m at work during the day.
I look forward to sharing further family history with you.
Regards, Suzanne Markert Benitez
