I think this is your man. James Blomfield of B.B. b.C1862 2nd son of James B. & Ann (Muskett) M.12.09.1855 to Sarah Anna Ward Wm.B. the eldest son was my gr-gr:father. He had 2 daus Annie & Bessie, my gr:ma who marr. Arthur Johnson. I quote from a letter written 14.o3 1922 by Annie to Arthur (Bessie died 1915)"Uncle James Blomfield was the 2nd son . He married a doctor's daughter of King's Lynn. A few years later they astounded everybody by going out to Aukland N.Zealand. I don't remember them but have often heard my mother say they were a charming couple. They had 10 children!! Poor aunt died when 10th baby arrived.Later Uncle J. married again. In a PS"I have a photo of Uncle James first wife taken in Aukland." The letter from Annie must have been in reply to Grandpa's enquiry about his wife's Blomfield family as my Uncle Tom (Thomas Blomfield Johnson) had recently been to N.Z. on business & had met a Thomas Blomfield in Auckland. The earliest Blomfield ancestor I kmow of was marr: in Stoke Ferry Norfolk in 1756. I would be interested to hear about my N.Z. cousins by E-mail.
