I was born in Cumberland, MD in 1951 and have done some genealogical work on my family. Perhaps you may have some luck if you look at some of the spelling deviations from your name (i.e. Blauch, etc.). Try searching on the internet via Yahoo for "Blauch". There are a very large number of the Blauch family still in the Cumberland area (esp. just over the Potomac river in WV). Many of the Blough family can be found to have settled in Indiana in the 1800's. An early spelling deviation of Blauch is found to have been Blough and Plough. Good luck.
